Patek Philippe has unveiled a new Calatrava replica watches for sale with a new movement before the official opening of Watches & Wonders 2025. The Calatrava 8 Days 5328G-001 is powered by the new Caliber 31-505 8J PS IRM CI J movement, which took Patek Philippe five years to develop. The movement is based on the rectangular Caliber 28-20 REC 8J PS IRM CJ architecture, which was introduced in 2013 in the Gondolo 8 Days, Day and Date Indicator reference 5200, but now in a round design. This 256-part movement includes two barrels in series, providing eight days of running time, with a ninth reserve day marked in red on the domed indicator at 12 o'clock. Also noteworthy is the instantaneous day/date mechanism at 6 o'clock - the date is indicated by a baton hand, while the day is displayed through an aperture. This is the fourth watch currently produced by Patek Philippe to feature the Pulsomax escapement, which was developed as part of the brand's advanced research program. As for the dial, the vertical layout keeps the dial clean and legible. The power reserve indicator is domed at 12 o'clock, with the instantaneous day and date at 6 o'clock, the date indicated by a hand and the day of the week in an aperture. The small seconds subdial shares the 6 o'clock position. The brass dial is textured blue with a black gradient edge and is framed by a white railroad minute track. The applied white gold syringe-style numerals are coated with luminescent coating.

The Calatrava 8 Days Reference 5328G-001 is fitted with a blue calfskin strap with a fabric pattern and cream stitching, fitted with a new patented three-piece folding clasp that not only improves security and comfort, but also makes strap changes easier as they can be quickly changed without tools. The watch also comes with a grained taupe calfskin strap.
