Greubel Forsey launches carbon fiber dual-balance convex balancer
Greubel Forsey has ushered in a new era of carbon fiber fashion wholesale watches, seamlessly integrating this remarkable material into its highly regarded collections. Maison takes the Double Balancier Convexe watch to new heights with the launch of a new carbon fiber watch limited to 22 pieces. Double Balancier Convex's carbon infusion adds an ethereal lightness and enhanced durability that appeals to collectors and connoisseurs.
Double heart watch made of carbon
The 42.5 mm convex case made of carbon fiber is a symbol of recognition thanks to this visionary choice of material. The case back of the watch elegantly follows the curve of the wrist, presenting a charming three-dimensional dial outline on which the uniqueness of carbon fiber shines. Each piece is a unique work of art, with carbon fiber weaving a unique narrative that emphasizes the uniqueness of each timepiece.
Creating the Convex carbon fiber case was no easy task for the manufacturer. Greubel Forsey’s custom carbon box technology requires a staggering 8 times higher pressure than the industry standard. This mechanical dedication results in a denser carbon that weighs nearly the same as comparable carbons, a collector's treat.high quality copy watches
For Greubel Forsey, this novel technology goes beyond mere mechanical principles, expanding the canvas of manual fine watchmaking craftsmanship and embodying the essence and prestige of the atelier. The Double Balancier Convex watch is decorated with satin, matte and embossed patterns, which are perfectly harmonized with the inherent artistry of carbon fiber, guided by Greubel Forsey's careful alignment of the lines converging on the Convex case.
Evolution of Mechanical Complexity
This sixth fundamental invention appears in a unique expression and is proof of the Maison's continuous innovation. Its prototype mechanism, patented in 2007 and born out of an experimental watch technology project, features a double adjustment mechanism tilted by 20°. The saga continues with a second caliber, six masterpieces, showing the regulating mechanism located on a 3D plane, this time inclined by 35°. Greubel Forsey Double Balancier Convexe Carbon
In 2016, Greubel Forsey presented the innovation in its current form: side-by-side balance wheels, inclined at 30°, linked by a constant spherical differential visible between 6 and 7 o'clock. Within each 4-minute cycle, the margin of error is halved, meeting Greubel Forsey's unwavering demands for performance, precision and reliability for its famous timepiece collection.
The heart of the Double Balancier Convexe movement is equipped with two 30° inclined balance wheels, which work independently to optimize performance mainly for stable positions. A constant spherical differential provides steady amplitude throughout the 72-hour chronograph power reserve. At the same time, these regulatory organs provide an incredible visual spectacle that keeps us from looking away.
