 Jacob & Co. Epic X Chrono Black Titanium Orange, a unique model for Only Watch 2021

Jacob & Co. will once again participate in the biannual Only Watch charity auction in Geneva on November 6th. Likewise, the brand has launched a unique version of the Epic X Chrono Black Titanium with orange details in keeping with the color theme of the 2021 Only Watch auction. After more than a year in the darkness of the global coronavirus pandemic, Jacob & Co. interpreted the color scheme as a new bright orange sunrise.

The 47mm black DLC grade 5 titanium case, black ceramic bezel and black mineral crystal dial are complemented by bold orange highlights on the screw-down crown, pushers, lugs, scale ring and mineral dial. This color scheme is paired with a perforated orange rubber strap. The design of the case and dial retains its signature bold "X" shape.

The Epic X Chrono Black Titanium is powered by the Jacob&Co JCAA05 - a semi-skeleton automatic bi-compax chronograph movement with detailed high-end finishes and a 48-hour power reserve. The watch is controlled by two buttons (start/stop and reset). The seconds are counted by the central chronograph hand and the minutes are counted by the right subdial.

The dial, in smoked sapphire glass, offers a partial view of the semi-skeletonized movement. The bright red chronograph central seconds hand is offset by two black and orange sundials in a biaxial layout.

Black skeletonized minute and hour hands tipped with white SuperLuminova. Orange and yellow hour, minute and second hands on black chapter ring. A push-down crown at 10 o'clock allows the ring to rotate.
