Richard Mille joined the thin luxury replica watches craze in 2011 with its 6.30mm thick "Extra Flat Automatic" RM 033 watch. The shape of the hands seems a bit odd to me, almost Art Deco Roman numerals. The rest of the dial is basically the top of the movement. There are luminous dots around the numbers and more luminous on the hands.
I like the case size (and width) of 45.70mm. Like I always say, the best thin watch is a wide replica watches for sale. The case is light and made of titanium with typical Richard Mille "spline" screws. Like I said, preserving the iconic Richard Mille case architecture while trying to flatten it is an impressive task. Even the sides of the case have a beautiful inlaid look, and I've come to appreciate the finely cut titanium on Richard Mille timepieces. In addition to the titanium version shown, the RM 033 will also be available in 18k red gold or 18k white gold.
The movement of the watch is brand new. It is an automatic movement RM033 with a solid platinum micro-rotor. Having a micro-rotor is a must for almost any thin watch, and platinum is used for weight, not just for show. While the watch does not have a dedicated power reserve indicator, the movement is skeletonised, which includes the mainspring barrel. If you remove the watch, you can see the winding in the barrel and measure how tight it is. Richard Mille states that the movement has a power reserve of 42 hours. The movement itself is just 2.60mm thick – pretty impressive considering all the styling that goes into it. The movement is mainly made of titanium with some steel.
While Richard Mille considers the watch an "official piece," it still has many of the sporty styles we love from the ultra-luxury brand. The watch feels light and solid on the wrist - like most of their creations. While it comes with a rubber strap, it is generally known to have custom work done to replace the strap. Richard Mille himself is especially known for this. I was wondering what other strap options would look good on this watch?
