The case of the SBGP017 is 40mm in diameter, 10.7mm thick and made of stainless steel. It is polished through Grand Seiko's Zaratsu technique, and the result is an eye-catching, distortion-free finish that exemplifies Grand Seiko case work. This increased precision is achieved by using quartz crystals that are aged for three months and then specially selected for their performance characteristics.
