Mechanical Challenge
Combining the almanac with the travel time functionality presents several significant challenges. It's not just two mechanisms packed into one shell. They should work together in such a way that the date display always corresponds to the local time, which is the time in the region where the watch wearer is located. Therefore, in the new Calibre 31-260 PS QA LU FUS 24H, the annual calendar is controlled by the Travel Time function, which is driven by the local hour wheel.
build style
Patek Philippe created a new white gold case with a diameter of 41 mm to match this movement and its exclusive functions. The anthracite-coloured dial has a fine black gradient on the outer edge, with a slightly grainy structure, vaguely reminiscent of the housing of an old camera. ref. 5326G -001 comes with two interchangeable straps, one in beige calfskin with nubuck construction (original) and the other in black calfskin with an embossed fabric finish and beige stitching.
For lovers of the unique design of ref. 5326G-001, Patek Philippe offers another Calatrava series watch with the same aesthetic, but with a slightly smaller diameter (40mm) and without any additional features. An example of balance and legibility, the Reference 53.20 Perpetual Calendar was launched in 2017 with a white gold case and a cream lacquered dial. Its retro style is reinterpreted in a new white gold version with a rose gold opalescent dial. The calendar display features one of the signature divisions of the Patek Philippe perpetual calendar since 1941, with a double-row day/moon window at 12 o'clock and a pointer date around the moon phase window at 6 o'clock. The whole is complemented by two small circular windows, one at 7:30 for the day/night indicator and one at 4:30 for the leap year cycle - a useful indicator for adjusting the calendar. The extremely precise moon phases are corrected by only one day every 122 years.

Introduced in 2011, the reference 5270 is the successor to generations of Patek Philippe perpetual calendar chronographs. The manufacturer has reinterpreted this timepiece with an iconic and original style model. Platinum is the most precious of all metals but also the most difficult to work, and its lustre adds to the timeless design of the case, with its concave bezel, elegantly curved bracelet attachments and buttons satin-finished on the sides and top polishing.
The perpetual calendar display is harmoniously arranged, with date and moon phase hands at 6 o’clock, and double windows for the week and month at 12 o’clock, supplemented by two small circular windows for day and night display and leap year cycle. The CH 29-535 PS Q movement is characterized by its traditional architecture combined with six patented innovations at the chronograph level, as well as its unusually flat calendar mechanism.

The new, modern and elegant dial in olive colour creates an optimal reading contrast with the applied numerals 12 and 6 and the round baton hands.
The unusual shape of the rectangular round case with two layers of lugs is inspired by Art Deco and is highlighted by a row of 18 diamonds set on either side of the dial. The mechanical components of the Patek Philippe E15 Quartz movement are manufactured and machined with the same high quality and care as the manufacturer's other movements.

The reference 5230 was launched in 2016 as the successor to the famous Patek Philippe World Time watch released in the 1930s and became an iconic watch for world travelers and collectors. In 2022, Patek Philippe will launch a new version of the white gold model, with a cloisonne Grand Feu enamel card, paying tribute to the vitality of Southeast Asia and Oceania.
To combine geography and poetry, artisans first outline the continents and islands with thin gold lines. He then filled the partitions with enamels of different colors, simulating sea and land. He put the enamel plate in the oven several times over high heat.

Introduced in 2011, the 7130 added a ladies watch to Patek Philippe's long tradition of world time watches. In 2022, the manufacturer will reissue this classic in a color that is as original as it is modern and elegant: olive green. The center of the dial is decorated with an exquisite hand-guilloché “Panier” pattern, a tribute to high-level craftsmanship. The olive green hue reappears on the Town Disc, with the name emblazoned in white standing out in a particularly clear way.
Behind this glamorous look is the self-winding calibre 240 HU, an ultra-thin movement that gives the case a particularly elegant shape. Patek Philippe has subtly reinterpreted the 5374 timepiece – a hybrid of two coveted supercomplications – in a new platinum cloisonne version with a blue lacquered dial. The platinum case, with its subtle curves, is set with baguette-cut diamonds that outline the bright geometric shapes. The moon phase display is a popular complication in women's watches and has been one of the highlights of the reference 7121J since 2013. Patek Philippe has reinterpreted this mechanical poem with a white gold case and an elegant blue dial whose display is as striking as the stars in the night sky. The dial is highlighted by a “sunburst” decoration that creates a subtle lighting effect. The Manufacture has also set a double row of 132 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel in a unique “Dentelle” setting, reinforcing the jewellery character of this model.
