In HYT's new vision, Hastroid green laser
The second iteration of the new work in the HYT saga.HYT Hastroid Green Laser
As we explained in this article published about 2 months ago, an important new chapter in the HYT Watches story has just begun. After a complicated period, under a new CEO - an industry veteran known as Davide Cerrato - the brand is back on track with its spacecraft trunks full of new models but with a unique meca -fluidic technology sound and safe. The name of this new entry in the HYT saga is Hastroid, and it's time for the release of the second chapter following the inaugural edition of The Green Nebula. Meet the new HYT Hastroid green laser. In fact, it couldn't be greener.
Everything we explained over the past few months still holds true for this new model. In short, HYT has always been one of the most fascinating and original brands in independent watchmaking. In addition to creating impressively complicated mechanical watches, the brand has infused something very unique in the industry, which has to do with science and the use of fluids. In addition to the mechanical drive of the watch, its mechanical movement, the HYT watch also showcases a display that relies on an additional module consisting of bellows and capillaries in which two immiscible fluids flow in a retrograde fashion to The transit time is indicated, and the point where the two fluids meet represents the current time. This has been the core of all previous models, cheap luxury watches
At the end of 2020, however, the brand had to face some difficulties, but since then there has been not only a new shareholder, but also a new CEO Davide Cerrato (ex-Tudor, ex-Montblanc). He's on a (space) mission to bring the brand back to the forefront, with vibrant models, bold designs and plenty of space inspiration. After all, the brand has long been considered a true UFO in watchmaking.
In January of this year, Cerrato showed us its first product, the HYT Hastroid, its Green Nebula version. The overall inspiration goes back to the company's roots, returning to edgy, modern, sharp shapes. HYT Hastroid is designed to resemble a spaceship. It's big, bright and bold. After all, HYT's insanely fluid display calls for this kind of boldness. HYT Hastroid completely redefines the overall design. No more pebble-shaped sapphire crystals. The new watch is more angular, almost square, but the skeletonized lugs add a certain airy feel to the case. It feels a lot like a space-related object. It's big on paper, with a 48mm x 17.90mm case, but it's a little more wrist-friendly than you might think.high quality cheap watches
New is the HYT Hastroid Green Laser Edition. While the first version already used green as a repeating accent throughout the watch, this one definitely takes green to another level, with the composite green case showing random patterns. Not by choice, of course, this composite material matched with DLC-coated titanium reinforces the multi-layered "sandwich" structure of the case, and one can even spot grid-like elements on the sides - a design cue around the watch .
The dial of the HYT Hastroid Green Laser is structurally the same as the Nebula, but it adds more green to the design. The hollowed-out textured structure allows most of the mechanical elements of the watch to be revealed, and the hollowed-out main plate is also covered by a sapphire plate. The dial consists of an hour-marker ring with a green background, grid elements and 3D applied numerals also treated in green on top. The fluid part - the bellows in the lower part and the capillaries around the dial - is fully visible, the tubes are now filled with black liquid to indicate the hours. As you can imagine, the central minute hand is also very green.BRM V12-44-ART-CAR Replica Watch
Powering the fluid indication is the HYT 501-CM movement, developed by renowned watchmaker Eric Coudray for the H5 and then refined for the launch of the Hastroid. It consists of two independent modules connected by levers. On top is a mechanical engine with a frequency of 4Hz and a power reserve of 72 hours. This mechanical module has two functions. First, it stipulates the time to provide precise indications. Second, it is the driving force indicated by the fluid, giving it momentum and providing a constant displacement to act on the motion of the fluid. The connection to the fluid device is through an oversized lever, a curved tentacle spindle or “sensor” for the coordination of the mechanism, and a complex-shaped cam with 13 positions to precisely synchronize the hour and minute indications.
The new HYT Hastroid Green Laser is worn on a black rubber strap with black Alcantara embossed inlays and green stitching.
