We're used to receiving unique original watches from the Tuscan U-Boat, where materials like carbon fiber, tungsten and bronze, as well as common materials like stainless steel, titanium, gold and silver, are nothing. new. However, we have yet to come across a watch with oil-soaked dial and mechanism. Sure, we're familiar with Sinn's UX watches or pricier models like the Ressence Type 3 and 5, but on U-Boat it's a relatively new model that debuted in December 2018. We received a test Croatian watch from U-Boat on behalf of Dicta, arriving in the Capsoil Solotempo DLC, reference 8108/A.

Italo Fontana founded the U-Boat brand in Lucca, Italy, at the turn of the century, two decades ago, but he relied on Swiss mechanisms from the start. He is also responsible for the look of all U-Boat Best replica watches as he designs them himself and ensures their striking originality. Most of their watches are very sturdy and the same cannot be said for Capsoil, at first you will notice the convex sapphire glass flowing over the edge of the dial and the classic half moon shape is gone. The dial is simple, with Arabic numerals at 12, 4 and 8 o’clock, while the other hour markers are displayed in simple lines. The inscription with the model and brand name is white, while the operating temperature range when the watch is not in the hands of the holder is highlighted in red letters. This is another ingenuity, as we haven't come across such information on the face of any other watch.

The case has a diameter of 45 mm and is water-resistant to 100 meters. It is completely filled with oil, which is also engraved on the back of the replica watches uk. Namely, the clock mechanism, the specially adapted Swiss quartz movement of the series, is completely immersed in an oil bath. Use a battery that cannot be replaced at any watch shop in this case.

The quartz crystal oscillates at 32.768 Hz, so there is no need to worry about accuracy. The strap is made of black ultra-vulcanized rubber with an embossed brand logo and a tongue buckle made of DLC-coated stainless steel. The watch is beautifully packaged with a window on the lid and a fastener on the side, modeled after those used on submarines.

Capsoil is an original model that, despite its quartz soul, has become very interesting for us thanks to its avant-garde solutions. Perhaps its evolution will lead to a mechanical movement, but until then, you can have a more advanced version with a leather strap and seconds hand, and there is also a chronograph version.
